Brazil Strengthens Sports Betting Integrity with Sportradar Partnership
New Cooperation Agreement:
Sportradar has signed a Technical Cooperation Agreement with Brazil’s Ministry of Sports to bolster integrity measures in the country’s nascent sports betting industry, officially launched on January 1, 2025.
Focus on Combating Match-Fixing:
The partnership aims to introduce joint initiatives to detect and prevent match-fixing, ensuring the growing legal gambling market remains fair and secure.
Advanced Technology Deployment:
Sportradar will provide its award-winning Universal Fraud Detection System (UFDS) to flag suspicious activity surrounding sports betting contests and events in Brazil.
Training and Capacity Building:
Sportradar will also conduct staff training workshops for the Ministry, equipping them with the knowledge to identify and respond effectively to fraud and match-fixing incidents.
